LIGHT-HEARTED SIGNS

There's No Talking in Fishing
One day last summer, my wife and I were out in Boulder Magnet (our motorboat) trolling flies for Maine's famous landlocked salmon.
When the fish stopped biting, we got to talking and got so distracted we missed a couple of strikes. The same thing happened later that day when we were casting for smallmouth bass. This prompted us to enact a new boat rule, "There's no talking in fishing."
Of course nobody obeys this rule 100% of the time. In fact, if a passenger feels like yelling "Lookout! There's a boulder ahead!" I encourage them to do so.
The sign measures 3½" x 6. It's made of ¼" MDF and poly-sealed. There's a loop of jute string to hang it from.

Wood Tick Inspections
This sign announces "Wood Tick Inspections: 9pm nitely in the Main Lodge". The sneering look on the old man and the shock on the young lady's face help get the point across. The sign measures 3½" x 6". It's made of ¼" MDF and poly-sealed. There's a loop of jute string to hang it from. After your friends ask 'is that for real?' they'll ask 'where can I get one?'
