FISHERMAN'S RULER
Some fishermen practice Catch and Release because they want to conserve the fish population.
Some fishermen practice Catch and Release because they take pride in outwitting a critter with a brain the size of a spring pea.
Other fishermen practice Catch and Release because studies* have shown that every fish they release grows at least 4" by the time they get home to tell anyone about it.
I made The Fisherman's Rule for this last group. You see, even though the ruler is only 8" long it will measure a 12" fish (get it?).

Made of pine and measuring 1"x 8"x 1/8", each ruler is sealed to be waterproof and has a hole if you want to hang it on a wall. It looks just like a genuine ruler. Like most old-time rulers it has a nugget of wisdom printed on it. No, not the Golden Rule, the Fisherman's Rule: "Believe the fish stories of others as you would have others believe yours." Put this ruler next to your catch when you photograph them and your friends are sure to be impressed. Just take a look at this picture of two beautiful landlocked salmon I caught.
Put several in your tackle box because when your buddies see you measuring your fish they're going to want a Fisherman's Rule too. They also make great gag gifts. Especially if you pair them up with one of our Gone Fishing or There's No Talking in Fishing signs.
