WOODEN MUSHROOMS

When I bought my first wood lathe I would practice turning odd shapes out of any old scrap of wood. As you can imagine, much of the scrap wood in my workshop consists of log cut-offs. Eventually I made a few mushrooms and polished them up. When I showed my wife she thought I ought to make them for sale. So here they are!

As with most of my wares, no two will be alike. They measure from 2" to 4" tall. Some stand straight up, some lean to one side. They may be birch, hemlock, fir, maple or oak. They are all polished so they have a slight shine. Let me select three mushrooms for you that go well together. If you have a specific size or color in mind, just email me before placing your order and I'll do what I can.

Won't these make a great conversation piece on a coffeetable or kitchen counter? Maybe with a few pieces of moss? Sorry, the frog is not included.
