GONE FISHING SIGNSIn my neck of the woods a lot of folks don't have phones. That means when we want to visit we often drop in without warning. When folks come by and can't find me, they can be pretty sure I've gone fishing. Just the same, I like to let them know by posting one of these signs on my door. You might also use the sign if you go fishing while the spouse is away and you want him/her to know where you are should he/she get home before you do. One customer uses this sign in her office cubicle to let people know when she doesn't want to be disturbed.
Each sign is a realistic image of the fish of your choice with the message "Gone Fishing" in bright yellow. Depending on the species, it'll be about nine or ten inches long and ¼" thick. The sign is meticulously cut to the shape of the fish making it easy to spot from a great distance. It's thoroughly sealed to be weatherproof. There's a loop of wire you can hang it from. I'm showing six different fish here but if you want some other species (a Catfish? Northern Pike? Muskie? Tuna? Bluefish?) I'll gladly oblige. Just email me and give me a few days to make it for you. These signs are simple but remarkably useful. They makes great gifts too. Especially when you pair them with one of my Fisherman's Rulers.
