PAYMENT METHODS

We use PayPal to process our payments. Viewing your cart will take you to PayPal's secure payments page. You don't need to have an account with PayPal, you can use PayPal's secure payment page to enter your credit card information and pay that way. PayPal will process the charge to your credit card and credit our account. You can rest assured your payment information is secure. Of course if you do have an account with PayPal, you can just pay from that without entering any credit card data. If you're not comfortable paying online, just email us and we can make arrangements for you to mail a personal check.

NATURE IS PERFECTLY IMPERFECT

Pretty much everything we sell is made from natural materials. Some of our products are unique (the sculpture, for example). When we think it'll make a difference, we will post photos of the actual item we're selling and will clearly say so in the text.

If, however, you should receive an item that is not exactly like the one shown on this web site, we hope you'll accept this as nature's signature and appreciate its uniqueness. Of course, if it's different in some significant way, take advantage of our return policy.

RETURN POLICY

If for any reason you decide you'd like to return or exchange an item within 10 days of receiving it, just click here for a return form email. Once we receive it, we'll send you instructions for returning the item for either an exchange or a refund of your purchase price. Naturally, all returns must be like new, complete and in resalable condition. Please pack the item carefully and insure anything that can be damaged.

BUYING A GIFT?

Are you buying something as a gift? We're happy to ship directly to the gift recipient if you like. Be sure to enter the recipient's address as the shipping address. During the checkout process you'll have the opportunity to leave us a comment. Tell us it's a gift and we'll omit the Packing Slip we normally enclose (because it shows prices). And if you'd like us to include a special note to the recipient, we're happy to do that too. Just let us know what you'd like it to say.

PACKAGING

When you order something from Rustic Workbench, don't expect it to arrive in a fancy custom box or in one of those plastic blister packs that require hedge shears to open. So much of that packaging is unnecessary and just ends up in a landfill. We try to reuse shipping materials. We promise that everything we ship will be in a clean container and packed so it arrives safely.

SHIPPING

We generally ship orders the business day after we receive them. Our first choice is USPS Priority Mail but for heavy or bulky orders we'll sometimes use UPS. For U.S. orders, you will generally receive your order within two to seven business days of the shipping date. International shipping takes longer and we will contact you via email with an estimated date of arrival. Also, if there should be any delay in shipping, we'll notify you by e-mail.

Please note that a few items require a modest shipping surcharge due to either their weight or size. These items are clearly noted on their order pages and the additional charge is calculated on a per order, not a per item, basis. This surcharge will be added automatically when you check out via PayPal. In the case of bulk orders we reserve the right to adjust the shipping charge to reflect my true costs.
