If, however, you should receive an item that is not exactly like the one shown on this web site, I hope you'll accept this as nature's signature and appreciate its uniqueness. Of course, if it's different in some significant way, I have a return policy. RETURN POLICY If for any reason you decide you'd like to return or exchange an item within 10 days of receiving it, just click here for a return form email. Once I receive it, I'll send you instructions for returning the item for an exchange or a refund of your purchase price. Naturally, all returns must be like new, complete and in resalable condition. Please pack the item carefully and insure anything that can be damaged. IS IT A GIFT? Are you buying something as a gift and having me ship directly to the recipient? Normally I enclose an itemized Packing Slip that shows prices. During checkout you can leave me a comment stating it's a gift and I will omit the Packing Slip. A WORD ABOUT MY PRICING All prices are given in US$. You may have noticed that all my prices are in whole dollars. Whenever I see a price like $19.95 or $19.99, I feel mildly insulted. Does the seller really believe that in my mind I'll round it down to $19 instead of rounding it up to $20? I guess some folks must fall for that or retailers wouldn't do it. I prefer not to take advantage like that. That is why all my prices are all in whole dollars. In fact, I can't understand why we continue to mint pennies. I understand it costs us 1.26¢ to make each one. HOW I PACKAGE MY PRODUCTS When you order something from Rustic Workbench, don't expect it to arrive in a fancy custom box or in one of those plastic blister packs that require hedge shears to open. I figure why should I go to all that trouble and expense only to have the packaging end up in a landfill? I promise that everything I ship out will be in a clean container and packed so it arrives safely. SHIPPING POLICY I generally ship orders the business day after I receive them. I favor the US Postal Service but sometimes use UPS. For domestic U.S. orders, you should receive your order within 3-7 business days of the shipping date. Shipping internationally takes longer. I will contact you via email with an estimated date of arrival. If there should be any delay in shipping, I'll notify you by e-mail. Rest assured that I will do my absolute best to please you. Please note that a few items require a modest shipping surcharge due to either their weight or size. These items are clearly noted and the additional charge is calculated on a per order, not a per item, basis. This surcharge will be added automatically when you check out via PayPal. In the case of bulk orders I reserve the right to adjust the shipping charge to reflect my true costs. |
